Job description

ow Hiring: Certified Welder/Fabricator

Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $28.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Certified Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position focuses on repairing stainless steel vacuum-insulated cryogenic cylinders and performing structural steel fabrication projects in a production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform weld repairs on stainless steel cryogenic tanks.
  • Weld primarily Types 304 and 201 stainless steel (average thickness of 3/16").
  • Fabricate structural carbon steel components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication sketches.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet daily output goals.
  • Follow all industrial safety standards and procedures.
  • Assist with other refurbishment and production activities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of direct welding and fabrication experience.
  • Strong experience with:
  • TIG Welding
  • MIG Welding
  • ARC Welding
  • Brazing
  • Soldering
  • Cutting and fabrication
  • Experience operating disc grinders, bench grinders, cut-off saws, drill presses, and common hand tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • High attention to detail with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
Required Certifications
  • AWS Certifications required:

  • ARC 6G
  • Knowledge of ASME Unfired Pressure Vessel Code is highly preferred.
