Clinic Nurse Supervisor - New Lisbon Family Medical Center

Location: New Lisbon Family Medical Center – New Lisbon, WI

Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday – Friday.

Weekend rotation: No weekends

Holiday rotation: Paid holidays

Position Summary:

The Clinic Nurse Supervisor position is responsible for the organization, coordination, and management of the New Lisbon Family Medical Center, as well as providing direct patient care.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Direct patient care includes telephone triage, patient education, workload messages, occasionally rooming of patients to backup other staff as needed, etc.
  • Manage work schedules, timesheet management, vacation/leave approval
  • Manage training for current staff
  • Manage interviewing/hiring, orientation and training for new staff
  • Perform employee annual evaluations, employee issues/concerns, conducting verbal and written reviews along with disciplinary action as needed
  • Schedule and facilitate team meetings and huddles
  • Manage the supply/vaccine orders – including VFC and Wifi Senso management
  • Purchase and maintenance orders – submit for the clinics as needed
  • Responsible for team building, communication, and ensuring compliance with organization policies/procedures and professional standards.
  • Manage the patient care staffing and monitor daily performance to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely.
  • Monitor quality and accuracy of work output in clinics, providing feedback or corrective guidance as needed.
  • Develops effective decision-making, communications and interpersonal relations to ensure a positive image of the Mile Bluff Medical Center Organization.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, or surveys related to clinics.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Position Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.
  • Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in a similar role preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
  • Comprehensive nursing skills and direct patient care experience required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
