Work Environment

The position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which is fully equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and facilities designed to optimize patient recovery. You will work within a supportive and collaborative team that values ongoing education and professional growth. Our typical schedule spans Monday to Friday, with 40-hour work weeks, allowing for a work-life balance while providing acute care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, determining their functional limitations and establishing a targeted treatment plan.
  • Implement and document individualized treatment programs that utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide treatment across various specialties, including orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological recovery, and sports medicine.
  • Foster excellent customer service by engaging with patients and their families, ensuring clear communication and understanding of treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and continuous improvement of care delivery.
  • Train and educate patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and adhere to organizational metrics to support the overall success of our practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Cascade Verge, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including adults recovering from surgeries, children with developmental delays, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and individuals experiencing chronic pain conditions. Our approach involves personalizing care plans that consider each patient’s unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals, ensuring an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • Current Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut, verified by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of direct clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
  • Certifications such as CPR are required for all clinical staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients, family members, and colleagues.
  • Proficient computer and word processing skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • A demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with patients, fostering a supportive environment that encourages recovery.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of physical therapy.
Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is essential, candidates with additional training in specialized areas such as sports medicine, vestibular rehabilitation, or pediatric therapy will be prioritized. Experience in implementing evidence-based practices and successful outcomes in patient management is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
