Toxic Tort Litigation Attorney – Partnership Track or Reduced-Hour Staff

Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Downtown)
Experience: 7+ years

Our client, a well-established defense litigation firm, is seeking a Toxic Tort Litigation Attorney to join its Baton Rouge office on either a partnership track or a reduced-hour staff attorney basis. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced defense litigator who thrives in complex, high-stakes exposure litigation and wants flexibility in career path.

What You'll Work On:
  • Defending corporate clients in asbestos, toxic tort, products liability, and industrial operations litigation
  • Managing complex, multi-party and multi-district litigation
  • Coordinating discovery, developing expert witnesses, and handling large volumes of technical and operational evidence
  • Independently managing depositions, hearings, and motion practice
  • Developing and executing sophisticated litigation strategies across all phases of exposure-related cases
  • Working directly with corporate clients, insurers, and national coordinating counsel
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 7 years of defense-side experience in asbestos, toxic tort, products liability, or industrial operations litigation
  • Strong background representing corporate defendants in occupational-exposure matters (asbestos, chemical exposure, product-liability claims)
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex litigation from start to finish
  • Transcript(s) and writing sample required with resume submission
