NWSL Atlanta
NWSL Atlanta 2028 is Atlanta's new expansion franchise in the National Women's Soccer League, which will begin play in 2028. NWSL Atlanta 2028 is owned by Arthur M. Blank, owner and chairman, Blank Family of Businesses, and is part of AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) comprised of the National Football League's Atlanta Falcons, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Major League Soccer's Atlanta United FC, Atlanta Drive GC of TGL, WTGL Atlanta and PGA TOUR Superstore.
Position Summary
The Director, Ticket Sales and Service will lead NWSL Atlanta's ticket deposit and sales strategy, customer service and retention, ticket inventory management, and revenue maximization through upselling and cross-selling. This position requires a dynamic, professional, energetic, creative leader with a successful management track record in collegiate, minor league and/or professional sports. This position will collaboratively work with the Ticketing leadership team to lead overall ticket sales strategy including pricing, inventory management, market management, forecasting, building packages, products, and processes to aid in reaching the revenue goals of the department. Lastly, this leader will create and lead the execution of the annual season ticket renewal strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Direct recruitment and hiring of a Ticket Sales Manager and Ticket Service Manager, along with oversight of the hiring of all ticketing sales and service associates.
  • Partner with Senior Vice President of Ticketing to identify, prioritize, and evaluate strategic ticketing initiatives and opportunities
  • Work closely with marketing, digital, and comms teams to develop a go-to market ticket sales strategy and plan
  • Administer efficient, accurate, and timely reporting mechanisms related to sales activity, budget pacing activity and retention updates to be used by senior management.
  • Lead contact with the NWSL Office regarding all topics specific to ticketing and reporting
  • Work with managers and CRM Director to develop and constantly grow a database comprised of major corporations, medium and smaller-sized businesses, and individual prospects through various prospecting and networking techniques.
  • Proactively communicate with and anticipate the needs of our customers by being an expert on the products and services offered by NWSL Atlanta.
  • Work with direct reports to propose creative ideas that will enhance all aspects of customer experience culture, including developing member benefit programs, special events and ways to exceed customer's expectations.
  • Provide ongoing evaluations, feedback and recommendations for increased ticket operations efficiencies, revenue generation and service aptitude.
  • Work with managers and CRM Director to develop an annual outbound account touchpoint campaign to cross-sell, upsell, communicate, and cultivate relationships with all season ticket members
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (Finance, Stadium Operations, and others) on best practices and policies related to ticketing.
  • Prepare and manage the NWSL Atlanta Ticket Department's budget.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant ticketing experience working in professional or collegiate sports
  • Experience in managing and leading a ticket service and/or sales staff
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
