JOB TITLE: Membership Sales Executive

DEPARTMENT: Ticket Sales & Service

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Membership Sales Executive, you are integral to the club's operation, focused on generating and retaining revenue across a variety of products. While a portion of your day-to-day will include maximizing the Season Ticket Member experience for existing members, you will primarily focus on heavy outbound sales to generate new business for Seattle Sounders FC. You can sell a full product menu while developing long-lasting relationships with Members to achieve revenue and retention goals. You will also serve as the primary touchpoint for general fan inquiries. We are seeking self-driven, positive, and resilient individuals who deliver an excellent sales and service experience to every fan they interact with.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed established sales and retention objectives by executing sales calls, virtual presentations, and stadium tours to sell and up-sell Sounders FC ticket products, including full seasons, partial plans, groups, and premium/suites.
  • Identify new business opportunities by establishing a professional network and self-prospecting, in addition to cultivating relationships with current Members.
  • Educate prospective and current Season Ticket Members about membership benefits, amenities, and best practices.
  • Answer and monitor general customer service and Season Ticket Member inbound inquiries to convert into sales or assist with service requests.
  • Provide outstanding customer service through quarterly touchpoint campaigns, including both virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Develop client profiles for all Members and prospects to deliver a unique and tailored fan experience.
  • Communicate customer feedback internally to help improve the fan experience.
  • Maintain a detailed database of Members and prospects, documenting all touchpoints in Salesforce.
  • Assist in executing customized Season Ticket Member programs, benefits, and events to drive engagement and loyalty.
  • Use AI responsibly to support prospect research, outreach, proposals, and sales planning.
  • Oversee large corporate sales initiatives as assigned.
  • Attend and provide service at all matchdays and special events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of proven, successful sales and customer service experience.
  • A passion for sales and retention, with a metrics-driven mentality.
  • Experience using Archtics and Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Proactively identifies solutions and excels at resolving challenging situations with calm professionalism while delivering strong independent results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally at all times.
  • An active listener with innate curiosity and a willingness to learn the value propositions of Members and prospective clients.
  • Ambitious and innovative; a creative thinker who uses unique approaches to build relationships with current and prospective Members.
  • A trusted teammate who thrives in collaborative, team-focused environments.
  • Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning and using AI tools and other technology to work more efficiently.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This role requires regular on-site presence, Monday-Thursday, at our Headquarters & Training Facility in Renton, WA, as part of a hybrid work arrangement, as well as matches at Lumen Field, events and meetings in market as needed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to facilitate own local travel.
  • Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Responsibilities include regular work outdoors and may require standing for long periods of time, as well as some lifting of up to 20 pounds.

The hourly range for this position is $22.00-$30.00. Positioning within the range at time of offer is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal equity, and current market conditions.
