Overview

Under direction of the Senior Director of Business Services/Chief Business Officer, plans, coordinates, and directs risk management, safety, and insurance programs including workers' compensation, student insurance, employment, property and liability insurance, general insurance coverage, and claims administration. Serves as immediate supervisor for designated employees.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct risk management, safety, and insurance programs.
  • Administer workers' compensation, student insurance, employment, property and liability insurance, and claims administration.
  • Supervise designated staff as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Training: High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or equivalent and thirty semester college units.

Desirable Qualifications

Education and/or Training: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field.

Desirable Experience

Five years of progressively responsible experience in the management and operation of a risk management program, preferably in a school district.

Pre-Employment Requirement

TB clearance and fingerprinting at employee cost.
