JOB SUMMARY
The Resilience Program Analyst I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Technology Resilience and Disaster Recovery plans within the institution at the direction of senior team members. This position assists in ensuring critical business operations can continue or be restored quickly following a disruptive event, such as a natural disaster, cyberattack, or system failure. The Analyst I will work closely with senior team members, IT staff, and business units to help identify risks, document processes, and audit resilience processes and recovery procedures and assess the maturity of the resilience program. Mostly remote work with occasional office-based environment requirements. May require occasional after-hours or weekend work during disaster events or recovery exercises. Some travel may be required for training or multi-site support.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Experience
    Basic understanding of organizational resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management concepts.
Preferred
  • Experience
    Experience with incident response, IT operations, or risk analysis is desirable.
    Familiarity with regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR) related to disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    Disaster Recovery Institute International Certification
    Assoc Business Continuity Professional Certification
    International Standardization Organization (22301) Certification

JOB DUTIES
  • Plan and lead interviews with stakeholders to assess the maturity of the Technology Resilience Program.
  • Assist in the development and updating of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Support Resilience Program maturity assessments.
  • Support risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems, processes, and dependencies.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, including tabletop and functional tests.
  • Coordinate with IT and business teams to gather and maintain accurate recovery requirements and contact lists.
  • Monitor and track compliance with DR/BC policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update DR/BC program documentation, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Assist in the communication of DR/BC plans and procedures to staff and stakeholders.
  • Support incident response activities during disaster events as directed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging threats related to disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
