Description
The Senior Director, Supply Chain serves as the senior supply chain leader for the Component Services business, responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize inventory, enhance customer service, improve operational performance, and support profitable growth. This role provides leadership and oversight of supply chain activities across the business network and serves as the primary liaison between the Component Services organization and centralized Supply Chain function. This role has full accountability for end-to-end supply chain performance across the Component Services network.
Working closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership, the Director ensures alignment between business objectives and supply chain capabilities while driving continuous improvement across planning, inventory, logistics, supplier performance, and fulfillment processes. This role is based in Southlake, Texas.
What you will be responsible for:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Lead transformational initiatives focused on network optimization, digital enablement, productivity improvement, and supply chain resiliency.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy that positions the business for sustained growth, scalability, and competitive differentiation.
  • Serve as a key member of the Component Services leadership team, advising on supply chain risks, opportunities, and capabilities.
  • Align business unit priorities with enterprise supply chain initiatives and best practices.

Planning & Inventory Management
  • Drive inventory optimization efforts to balance customer service, availability, and working capital objectives
  • Lead demand, supply, and inventory planning processes across the Component Services network.
  • Drive processes to align commercial objectives, operational capabilities, and financial outcomes.

Network & Supplier Performance:
  • Provide oversight of network-wide supply chain performance, including planning, logistics, distribution, and fulfillment activities.
  • Partner with centralized Procurement teams to improve supplier performance, mitigate risks, and support sourcing strategies.
  • Lead response and recovery efforts related to supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and customer service challenges.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, inventory management, service levels, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Promote standardization, collaboration, and best practices across the network.

Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Operations, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and centralized Supply Chain teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and succession planning for a high-performing ACS supply chain organization, developing future leaders and building organizational capability.
  • Influence business strategy and drive decision-making through collaboration with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications
What you will need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, planning, procurement, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success leading supply chain initiatives in a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, or service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, S&OP, logistics, supplier management, and supply chain analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, more during onboarding.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
