Job Description:
Citi Agency & Trust is seeking a senior sales representative to drive growth across targeted Structured Capital Market segments. The candidate will build and maintain effective relationships with key business partners, intermediaries, clients and prospects to maximize potential growth of the business. The candidate must have a deep understanding of the relevant market segments, including client and buying behaviors and purchasing. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the bank's products to existing and new clients, as well as assessing opportunities to optimize share of wallet and increase sales. Daily duties include preparing and giving sales presentations to clients, creating and maintaining relevant sales reports/metrics, building relationships, and meet (or exceed) sales quotas. The candidate must be able to negotiate terms and successfully close transactions with clients and/or related transaction counterparties.
Qualifications/Skills/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher. Finance experience preferred
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in trust or capital markets industry including sales and client experience to drive growth
  • Strong knowledge of structured products and capital markets preferred with a strategic business and market acumen
  • Excellent verbal, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivation, independence, organization; demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong client and operational experience, including compliance/risk/control
  • Team player with the ability to work closely with peer groups and stakeholders
  • Drive innovation and improvements to deliver service needs
  • Extensive external network to build and retain strong client relationships
