Overview

A Strategy Director, is a seasoned leader within their business' cross-functional agency team, delivering insightful strategic thinking that drives the work. They manage one or more junior strategy team members and are recognized as an expert in shopper and retail strategy.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities
  • Agency-wide strategic leadership across multiple accounts, serving as acritical business partner
  • Delivers thought leadership and proactive solutions to clients and internal teams
  • Drives best-in-class insight, data-informed strategy, and innovative thinking
  • Build client relationships, identifying new ways to broaden offering, and grow existing relationships
  • Conceptualizes, sells, designs, leads, analyzes, and presents qualitative and quantitative research studies
  • Participates in new business pitches
  • Works collaboratively with senior management, agency partners and peers to successfully contribute to the success of the agency
Qualifications
  • 10-12 years work experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, media, or digital. CPG and/or retail experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of secondary research data sources; ability to navigate and extract baseline insights
  • Working understanding of omnichannel marketing tactics
  • Strong writing skills
  • Creates aesthetically pleasing, impactful presentations
  • Enthusiastic brainstorm and/or workshop facilitator
  • Quickly able to master the agency's processes and products
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Proficiency in strategically planning campaigns to align with clients' strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Expertise across various media types, including national, local, digital, direct, programmatic, and shopper marketing
  • Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Experience with people coaching and/or management

Compensation Range: $$127,585 - $165,870 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
