Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Director, Global Operations, you will be responsible for the stand-up of new enterprise-wide capabilities to transform the organization and advance HCA’s operating strategy. This role partners with Global Delivery leaders, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders to govern and drive the implementation of new strategic capabilities. This role owns the end-to-end delivery process and multiple concurrent timelines in a portfolio with confidence and efficiency, communicates effectively with all levels of stakeholders across functional areas as the delivery owner, and proactively resolves and/or escalates any program delivery risks and issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate success leading multiple concurrent, enterprise-scale transition / transformation programs from strategy through implementation, stabilization, and benefits realization
  • Coordinate and oversee the governance of new operating model implementations spanning cross-functional teams and ensure timely completion of all implementation targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end of global process launches, including defining and driving the project plan, managing multiple stakeholders, and triaging risks to remediation
  • Independently manage your portfolio of global initiatives including process improvement identification, budget management, and on time delivery
  • Partner with stakeholders across distinct functions and project workstreams (e.g., IT, business) to resolve operational challenges and achieve global capability targets.
  • Own operational cutover, hypercare, and stabilization activities, ensuring clear acceptance criteria, knowledge transfer, support models, and accountability for unresolved issues
  • Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and baselines to measure the success of enterprise transformations, including operational efficiency and service quality metrics.
  • Define and establish the appropriate global governance cadence, performance thresholds, and escalation protocols in pursuit of enterprise targets
  • Facilitate business impact assessments and the development of business continuity plans (BCP) for all global capabilities in partnership with business leaders.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Consulting, Strategy, Transformation, Operations or Program Management
  • Five or more years of experience leading teams, matrixed organizations, or transformation offices, including internal employees, external consultants, and third-party partners
  • Previous consulting and/or advisory experience highly preferred.
  • Experience working across geographic regions preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience leading complex, large-scale operations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional teaming skills and proactiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels in a hybrid, multicultural environment.
