Description:

The Strategic Account Manager is a revenue-focused role responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with assigned distribution partners. This position emphasizes strategic planning, partner engagement, and long-term revenue growth rather than transactional sales. The Strategic Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams, ensuring alignment, performance optimization, and a high-quality partner experience.


This role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, strengthening partner relationships, and driving sustainable revenue through collaboration, insight, and execution. This role is also responsible for identifying, developing, and introducing new strategic partner relationships, including API partnership opportunities, while coordinating cross-functional efforts to support implementation readiness and long-term revenue growth.


This a hybrid role that requires 3 onsite days per week at one of our biBerk office locations: Pittston, PA, Omaha, NE, or San Antonio, TX.


Job Responsibilities

  • Build, introduce, and support new partner relationship agreements and contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational capabilities, and revenue objectives
  • Identify opportunities for API-driven partnerships and serve as a key stakeholder in introducing new API agreements with external partners
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal business, operational, underwriting, technology, and leadership teams to support evaluation, onboarding, and implementation readiness for new partner and API opportunities
  • Facilitate the intake and internal coordination process for approved API agreements to ensure opportunities are properly documented, prioritized, and slotted into the development backlog for implementation
  • Act as a strategic liaison between external partners and internal teams to support successful implementation, growth, and long-term relationship management of API-enabled partnerships
  • Evaluate partner growth opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives that improve revenue generation, operational efficiency, and partner experience
  • Support contract discussions, partnership planning, and implementation timelines to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives


Requirements:

Education & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic math and performance metrics

Skills

  • Strategic and analytical thinking with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years proven experience in account management, partner management, or a related role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith starting compensation is being provided. The salary range for this position is $105,000 - 150,000/year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
