Position Summary
The Store Manager owns the day-to-day performance of their store, leading the team, the floor, and the guest experience. This role is responsible for ensuring the store achieves its
sales and profitability goals, delivers a strong customer experience, and operates in full compliance with company policies and procedures.

The Store Manager is present on the floor daily to monitor store conditions, merchandising, service levels, and operational performance. This position coaches and develops
department leads and team members, holds the team accountable to company standards, and ensures consistent execution across every shift. The role partners with corporate departments including HR, Asset Protection, and Quality Control to maintain operational consistency, reduce shrink, and build a strong bench of future leaders within the store.
Operational Leadership
• Conduct regular store visits and operational walkthroughs across all locations
• Evaluate store readiness (opening and closing conditions, merchandising, staffing coverage)
• Ensure stores are clean, organized, safe, and fully stocked
• Hold Store Directors accountable for operational standards and productivity
• Support execution of company initiatives and operational changes Store Audits amp; Compliance
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled store audits and walkthroughs
• Evaluate backrooms, coolers, sales floor, and safety conditions
• Partner with Quality Control and Safety teams to ensure compliance
• Verify completion of incident reports, safety inspections, and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and labor guidelines
Merchandising amp; Store Conditions
• Establish merchandising expectations across departments
• Ensure displays meet company presentation standards
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and shelf presentation
• Review store appearance during peak and non-peak hours
• Provide corrective coaching when standards are not met
Financial Performance
• Monitor store KPIs including Sales, Gross Profit, Payroll %, and Supplies %
• Review weekly flash reports and monthly P amp;L statements with Store Directors
• Develop action plans for underperforming stores
• Support Store Directors in achieving financial and operational targets
Leadership Development
• Coach and mentor Store Directors and department leadership
• Conduct regular 1:1 development meetings
• Identify and develop high-potential employees
• Support onboarding and leadership training programs
• Participate in performance evaluations and accountability conversations
Meetings amp; Communication
• Lead regular performance meetings with Store Directors
• Participate in leadership meetings with Director of Retail Operations and Asset Protection
• Communicate company initiatives and expectations to store leadership teams

Training amp; Culture
• Reinforce company standards and leadership expectations
• Support training programs for Store Directors, Managers, and Leads
• Ensure onboarding and retraining occur when necessary
• Promote accountability, engagement, and positive team culture
Projects amp; Corporate Initiatives
• Assist corporate leadership with implementation of company projects at the store level
• Monitor execution and provide feedback on rollout effectiveness
• Support cross-department initiatives (HR, Marketing, Operations, AP)

Working Conditions
