At Chromalloy Carson City, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams manufacture and repair critical turbine engine components used throughout the global aerospace industry. Every improvement you make has a direct impact on quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Support internal and external audits, quality system compliance, and certification requirements
  • Work with suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related concerns
  • Develop quality metrics, reports, and statistical analyses to support business objectives

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), 8D, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Experience using SPC and statistical tools to drive process improvement
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
  • Experience working directly with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience with AS9100, FAA, Part 145, Part 21, or other regulated quality systems
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Experience with yield improvement, scrap reduction, and process optimization projects
