You'll be a key voice in a collaborative, product-focused culture-solving complex problems, elevating quality practices, and mentoring others as we grow our next generation of applications.
The Senior QA Engineer acts as a team mentor and a key technical leader in cross-functional initiatives. They are responsible for leading QA efforts across multiple applications and teams, defining advanced test strategies, scaling automation frameworks, driving process improvements, and ensuring enterprise standards for quality.
*This position is full-time, in-office in Irvine, CA only.
General Responsibilities
  • Define and implement advanced test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Lead development and scaling of automation frameworks and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct advanced performance, security, and accessibility testing
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level QA team members and provide technical guidance
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Lead defect management processes and ensure enterprise-level tracking and reporting
  • Drive continuous QA process improvements and innovation

Work Schedule + Benefits

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm

  • Salary range: $107,367 - $140,000 annually

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum Product Owner or ScrumMaster Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive QA Experience, including leadership of test automation and strategy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with the following tools and platforms-
    • Playwright
    • Jenkins
    • Jira Software and Confluence
    • JMeter
    • Microsoft office with Visio

Work Location Details
In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029. We are sharing this information early so candidates can make informed decisions while considering a career with In-N-Out Burger.
