(ADI) is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Reliability Hardware & Systems Development team in San Jose, CA. This role involves creating breakthrough hardware & system solutions to support the wide range of high-impact projects & facilitate the testing of ADI’s innovative new product developments. The successful candidate will engage in a mix of new developments as well as support and maintenance of existing solutions.**Key Responsibilities**:* Design and develop high power burn-in systems and hardware including custom burn-in boards (BIBs) and test fixtures* Design reliability stress hardware for HTOL, HAST, HTOB, PTC etc and generate & maintain related documentation* Work closely with the product teams and reliability engineers to determine requirements and key tools/equipment necessary to meet the needs of each project* Collaborating with systems software engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration as required* Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure compliance with the specified requirements* Utilize 8D process to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware defects and drive implementation of preventive measures to minimize future recurrence* Constantly seek opportunities to apply new methods & techniques to provide high-impact efficiency improvements to existing systems & hardware* Engage in professional development opportunities to keep current with technological advances in systems & hardware and apply them to improve the overall capabilities, operational efficiency & product quality**Minimum Qualifications**:* B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 7+ years of experience in hardware engineering and/or reliability* Proven ability in development & validation of hardware and systems used for semiconductor reliability. High power module burn-in experience is a plus* Hands-on experience with burn-in, environmental and other reliability stress test chambers* Familiarity with reliability testing industry standards JEDEC, IPC etc.* Strong troubleshooting skills & ability to tackle challenges quickly and efficiently* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to deliver on schedule* A proactive, can-do attitude, with a passion for working alongside an amazing team and innovative products**Preferred Qualifications:*** Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing technologies* Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reliability* Collaborative attitude and ability to work cross-functionally effectively* Excellent verbal and written communication skills**Why You’ll Love Working at ADI**At Analog Devices, you'll be part of a collaborative and innovative team that's shaping the future of technology.
