Job Description
Sika Corporation is looking for a Technical Service Manager for the Hydrotech brand. The Technical Service Manager will have thorough knowledge of all Hydrotech branded products and assemblies, ensure that the correct application procedures are followed, and assist Hydrotech staff, sales reps, applicators, general contractors, architects, specifiers, and building owners, through day-to-day communication and on-site. This position reports to the Director of Technical Services.
  • Proper and accurate use and dissemination of Hydrotech products and assembly information to the field and design teams
  • Review of project specifications and details
  • Atypical detailing coordination, presented in drawn form (CAD or sketched/hand drawn)
  • Warranty Claim follow up
  • Special Projects that include but not limited to revision/update of technical literature, researching new products, and developing new/modified means and methods
  • Job Site visits - which involves training new applicators, warranty claim investigation, detail and application review.

Qualifications
  • Travel up to 60%
  • Technically proficiency with a good, general understanding of the waterproofing and/or roofing industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Windows Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to use AutoCAD is preferred
