Tarrant Roofing LLC is a rapidly growing roofing contractor specializing in residential and commercial roofing, new construction, repairs, and metal fabrication. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations New Construction Roofing to lead our production teams and drive operational excellence.


The Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of Tarrant Roofing's New Construction Division. This executive leadership position is responsible for managing daily operations, improving efficiency, maintaining profitability, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering exceptional quality on every project. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive experience in residential and/or commercial new construction roofing and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all new construction roofing operations from contract award through project completion.
  • Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Supervisors, Scheduling, and Production teams.
  • Develop and implement operational processes that improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor costs, material usage, and overall job profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Purchasing, Accounting, and Executive Leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
  • Review production schedules and allocate crews and resources efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Conduct regular job site visits and quality control inspections.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics for production teams.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate operations personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices throughout the division.
  • Assist in strategic planning to support company growth throughout Texas and surrounding markets.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of roofing operations or construction management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple teams.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial new construction roofing systems.
  • Experience working with production scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project management.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project profitability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software (JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Buildertrend, or similar platforms preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience working with national and regional home builders.
