  • Phase 2 (2027+): Deployment and support of automation solutions across plants
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Development & Validation (Year 1 Focus)
  • Develop and refine robotic process concepts for assembly and material handling applications
  • Define requirements for Robotic systems, End-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and Cycle time and efficiency optimization
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and proof-of-concept validation
  • Collaborate with suppliers and integrators to evaluate and improve solutions
  • Contribute to standardization of automation solutions across plants
Supplier & Integration Support
  • Work closely with automation vendors and integrators to define system specifications
  • Support technical evaluations, testing, and validation of supplier deliverables
  • Contribute to supplier selection in partnership with purchasing teams
Deployment Support (2027+)
  • Support implementation of robotic systems across manufacturing plants
  • Assist with launch activities, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Ensure adherence to defined standards and performance targets
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams
  • Drive improvements in cycle time, efficiency, and process reliability
  • Share best practices and lessons learned across the global network
Your profile and competencies to succeedRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in robotics, automation, or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, etc.)
  • Background in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Experience working with automation suppliers or integrators
Preferred
  • Experience in automotive assembly (seating or similar high-volume products)
  • Knowledge of EOAT design, Cycle time optimization, Basic automation/controls concepts
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship of any kind, now or in the future.

What we can do for you
  • You will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.
