Job Summary (ICU RN - Float to MS/Tele):
- Provide direct nursing care in ICU and MS/Tele units, floating between units as needed
- Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour night shifts (7PM-7AM), including every other weekend
- Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios: ICU (1:1 or 1:2), MS/Tele (1:4 or 1:5)
- Utilize standard med-surg/tele equipment and Liko lifts in most patient rooms
- Document patient care using Cerner electronic charting system
- Ensure adherence to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration (BCMA)
- Actively participate in a flexible pool of nurses, adapting to unit needs
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain required certifications: Arizona or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Hospital is a short-term acute care, teaching, Level IV trauma facility with 87 beds
- Free parking provided; navy blue scrubs required
- Guaranteed 36 hours/week, with possible call-offs per facility policy
- Open to first-time travelers and local candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience
