Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
  • Administer medications, IV drips, blood products, and advanced therapies
  • Operate and manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly with appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with clinical standards
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and critical care processes
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Delaware or Compact)
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous ICU or Critical Care experience preferred
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
