We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for Med/Surg-Tele unit

Hours: 36hrsย 

Shift: Evening/Night, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation ย 

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Moran 3 is a 20 bed, ICU step-down unit, providing intermediate care that specializes primarily in pulmonary care and chronic pulmonary diseases.ย  We also have a fast-paced 10 bed observation unit that specializes in cardiac and neurological rule out patients.ย  We care for patients with multiple comorbidities including DKA, vented / chronic trach patients, a-fib, COPD and stroke patients.ย  We are a very tight-knit group, where we primarily focus on teamwork in order to care for our patient population.

ResponsibilitiesUnder direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
    • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
    • Three (3) months experience is preferred.
    • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

    Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
