We are searching for a talented Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist for the Observation Unit @ St. Luke's Hospital.

Hours: 40 8A โ€“ 8P 7on / 7 off includes weekends & holidays

Shift: Day/evening, weekend, holiday rotation

Location: New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities
  • Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager, or designee, conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
  • Perform initial histories, physicals, consultations and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing, radiology testing, and/or immunizations.
  • Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/timely treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate is required.
  • Minimum of one years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Current Massachusetts Nursing Practitioners License is required.
Pay Range

USD $61.50 - USD $70.00 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

7 on / 7 off includes weekend and holidays
