ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

PCU RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCU RN to join our team in a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients primarily in the transplant population, including pre- and post-operative liver and kidney transplant patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the PCU.
  • Monitor patient statuses and coordinate interventions as necessary.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Utilize advanced telemonitoring systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • 1+ year of recent nursing experience in a PCU or similar environment.
  • Current South Carolina RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License.
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Must demonstrate competency in specialized nursing skills such as central line care, arterial line management, and blood product administration.
