Position Overview

Newport Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. In this full-time, remote role, you will provide critical psychotherapy and mental health services to patients suffering from various mental health conditions. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of individuals seeking treatment at our detox center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with patients and professionals via telehealth platforms. As part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapy to patients with mental health conditions, focusing on challenges such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD through evidence-based treatment modalities.

  • Conduct thorough assessments to gauge patients' mental health status and functioning, enabling the development of tailored, culturally competent treatment plans.

  • Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, exchange observations, and adjust treatment plans based on holistic patient evaluations.

  • Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, adapting interventions as necessary to ensure responsiveness to evolving patient needs.
