GuideStone Funds Internal Wholesaler works to develop business for the GuideStone Funds through the Advisory and Institutional channels. The Internal Wholesaler builds RIA and private wealth advisor relationships though a consultative sales process. Working in partnership with these advisors, the Sales Consultant strives to position GuideStone Funds' array of mutual funds within clients' investment portfolios. We serve those that serve the Lord with the integrity of our hearts and the skillfulness of our hands. (Psalm 78:72)

What You'll Do:

  • Develop a business plan annually and devise the necessary activities, strategies and tactics to achieve goals and grow the business accordingly.

  • Proactively develop consultative relationships with Independent Financial Advisors, RIA, and Private Wealth advisors in assigned territory by a combination of cold calls, warm calls, and e-marketing.

  • Maintain consistently high calling activity to develop an expansive active prospect pipeline of financial professionals

  • Qualify, follow up and leverage relationships developed through these initiatives to position the GuideStone Funds

  • Maintain and expand existing relationships in assigned regional territory by executing proactive, creative and ongoing contact in territory

  • Document all advisor activity in CRM, update CRM advisor database for assigned territory and keep up to date and accurate Outlook calendar.

  • Partner with the Regional Director to capitalize on qualified advisor leads while providing territory specific information to initiate call campaigns.

  • Represent and serve GuideStone with integrity so as to both support and further its mission and values.

  • Assist the Director of Investment Sales with other department-wide projects as assigned such as marketing strategy design,

  • budget development and tracking, reporting processes and other activities as assigned.

  • Maintain professional development and ongoing personal education/growth.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work to identify cross sell opportunities of other GuideStone products and services.

  • Work in unison with the Client Services area of GuideStone Capital Management.

What You'll Need:

  • Active FINRA licenses (Series 6, Series 7 preferred, and Series 63)

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in financial services sales or advisory, preferably in inside sales roles

  • Strong alignment with evangelical Christian values and GuideStone's mission

  • Ability to build consultative relationships and communicate effectively with financial advisors

  • High initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms

  • Professional maturity and desire for long-term career development

  • Preferred experience with firms like Edward Jones, LPL or Ameriprise, with insight into their sales structure and advisor training programs

  • Participate in occasional travel (up to 25%) for training and events

  • Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.

  • Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
