Atlas Tech is a rapidly expanding company supporting the U.S. Military and other Government entities and we are seeking a passionate, flexible, and highly motivated team player to join our group of Technology professionals.

We are looking for a talented Tactical Networks Lead Systems Engineer in support of PMW-160 Tactical Networks. This is a full-time position working out of San Diego, CA.

The Tactical Networks Lead Systems Engineer will support Tactical Networks Technology to coordinate efforts to rapidly field new network implementations and integration of external stakeholder capabilities leveraging Tactical Networks.

You Will:

  • Support CONOPS development and Fleet Introduction activities
  • Manage integration efforts with external stakeholder capabilities
  • Coordinate with Fleet Commands, Warfare Development Commands, other PMWs, and PAE enterprise partners
  • Lead remote engineering teams supporting development, testing, modeling, simulation, and integration for tactical networks products

You Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
  • 7+ years experience leading multi-site or remote engineering teams
  • 7+ years experience developing technical documentation (concepts, requirements, integration plans, or CONOPS)
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across Navy programs, Fleet organizations, Warfare Development Commands, or other federal agencies
  • Experience supporting network or systems integration, testing, and fielding activities
  • Experience with modeling, simulation environments, or engineering tools used in network/system development
  • Experience troubleshooting and restoring network or system issues in operational or fleet support contexts
  • Proven track record of performance in stakeholder facing roles requiring relationship building and cross program coordination

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience supporting Information Technology or Network Systems engineering for DoD or Government agencies

We Would Be Impressed If You Had:

  • Experience with Tactical Networks systems, architectures, or fielding processes
  • Experience supporting Fleet Introduction activities or operational fleet coordination
  • Experience with transport, connectivity, or network centric systems engineering
  • Experience with DevSecOps, NetDevOps, or automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with modeling network/system behavior using Python, JSON/YAML, or similar formats
  • Experience developing or maturing complex cross enterprise engineering efforts
  • Ability to autonomously move engineering efforts forward with limited oversight
  • TS/SCI Eligibility
