You will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home, with an annual salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 based on your experience and hours worked.

This fully remote role allows you to practice mental health counseling entirely through online platforms, eliminating the need for a physical office. Our telehealth facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art Counselor Dashboard, designed to serve as your personal online office. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients through secure video conferencing, focusing on enhancing their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Encouraging open dialogue about emotions and life experiences to foster self-awareness and personal growth among clients.
• Advocating for clients by helping them define their treatment goals and collaborating on actionable steps to achieve these goals.
• Assessing and evaluating clients' mental health conditions and crafting personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Utilizing a solution-focused approach to facilitate positive change and support clients in developing coping mechanisms.

At the Center for Discovery Therapy Collective, you will work primarily with pre-screened adult clients who are stable and present with low acuity mental health concerns. This ensures that you will not be tasked with managing severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus on clients whose needs align with your expertise. Our matching system ensures that you are connected with clients who reflect your specialty areas and demographic preferences, enhancing the counseling experience for both you and your clients.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice independently as a:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proven ability to make professional evaluations and design effective treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with empathy and a client-centered approach to care.
• Proficiency with digital tools for counseling and documentation purposes.
