About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to build, scale, and lead our HR function during an exciting period of growth. This is a strategic and hands on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast paced, high growth environments and has successfully developed HR infrastructure while supporting organizational expansion.

The ideal candidate has experience working in startups as well as larger, more complex organizations. They understand how to balance strategic initiatives with day to day execution and are comfortable building processes that can scale alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the Human Resources function, including employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support rapid company growth and long term business objectives.
  • Build scalable HR programs, policies, and processes that can evolve with the organization.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Support the company through periods of significant growth, organizational change, and scaling.
  • Lead HR integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring a smooth employee experience and successful organizational transition.
  • Navigate complex organizational structures, including matrixed and enterprise environments.
  • Coach and develop leaders on employee engagement, performance management, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Foster a positive, high performance culture while maintaining a strong focus on employee experience.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including experience as an HR Director or similar senior HR leader.
  • Demonstrated success supporting high growth startups and scaling organizations.
  • Significant experience leading HR efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or post acquisition integrations.
  • Experience working within large enterprise or matrix organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute operationally.
  • Experience building HR infrastructure, policies, and programs from the ground up.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent) is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Startup experience where you helped build and scale the HR function.
  • Experience supporting organizations through rapid headcount growth.
  • Background partnering with executive leadership on organizational design and business strategy.
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast changing environments.
