Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing complex audits andโ€ฏreviewing audit documentation as well as other Assurance engagements.ย 
  • Training and supervising professional team members.ย 
  • Reviewing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAPย 
  • Performing technical research and applying it to client situationsย 
  • Assisting Partners with consulting projects.โ€ฏย 
Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:ย 

  • 8-10โ€ฏyearsโ€™ experience in the assurance/audit side of public accountingย 

  • Expertiseย in the Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation industryย 

  • Experience overseeing Audit engagements, leading a team of professionals, and reviewing work papers and financial statementsย 

  • Well-rounded knowledge of audit and accounting principlesย 

  • Current CPA licenseย requiredย 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite productsย 

  • Proficiencyย with CCH Proย fxย Engagement and IDEA, software is a plusย 

  • Client service orientedย 

  • Consultative Approachย 

  • Team playerย 

  • Self-Directed, Autonomous, Motivatedย 

  • Entrepreneurial spirited and ambitiousย
