Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments, gathering comprehensive histories that reflect patients' unique personal and cultural experiences to create tailored treatment plans.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health records (EHR) system for efficient management of patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Virginia.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and a solid grasp of evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally responsive techniques and fostering therapeutic relationships.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills with the capability to maintain composure in challenging scenarios.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling positive rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and standard computer applications for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 yearly, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
