Position Summaryย 

TextCareย is seeking a Georgia-licensed physician to provide collaborative oversight for nurse practitioners and physician assistantsย in accordance withย Georgia practice requirements. This is a fully remote, independent contractor (1099) opportunity that fits alongside an existing clinical practice.ย 

This administrative and supervisory role does not involve direct patient care.ย Key responsibilities includeย establishingย collaborative practice protocols, completing periodic chart reviews, providing consultation when needed, and supporting quality assurance activities through our online review platform.ย 

Timeย Commitmentย & Compensationย 

Initial time commitment is typicallyย 1โ€“5 hours per month, depending on the number of assigned practitioners. There are no required office hours or call responsibilities, and administrative support is provided by our Licensing Operations team.ย 

Compensation is based on the number of practitioners assigned for supervisory oversight. Physicians may earn up to $1,000 per month in Georgia, based on assigned practitioners and the current state limit of eight supervisees.ย 

Physicians who hold licenses inย additionalย statesโ€”or are interested in obtainingย additionalย state licensesโ€”may be considered for expanded supervisory opportunities as business needsย evolve.ย 

Essentialย Qualificationsย 

Due to Georgia collaborative practice regulations, applicants mustย maintainย an active Georgia physician license and have their primary practiceย locatedย within the state of Georgia.ย 

What You'll Doย 

  • Establish andย maintainย collaborative practice agreements and protocolsย with assigned providersย in accordance withย Georgia lawย 

  • Review assigned charts and document quality findings through our online platformย 

  • Provide clinical consultation to assigned advanced practice providers, as neededย 

  • Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance activitiesย 

Requiredย Qualificationsย 

  • Active Georgia physician license in good standingย 

  • Primary practiceย locatedย in Georgiaย 

  • Board certifiedย inย internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, or another primary care specialtyย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Comfortable using web-based technology platformsย 

  • Telehealth experienceย ย 

  • Experience collaborating with advanced practice providersย ย
