  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, applying diverse modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses each client's unique circumstances and develops holistic support plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals and families facing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. By focusing on those with limited access to care, we aim to bridge gaps in the mental health system, offering quality services to underserved populations. Counselors at Alleviate Behavioral Health are trained to engage with diverse clientele, enhancing their ability to provide culturally competent care.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client management.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and effectively work in a remote team setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred.
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
  • Evidence of a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance, as well as malpractice insurance.
  • Our counselors also benefit from access to client referrals and support for billing and documentation, allowing them to focus on client care.
