Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with clients through a secure video platform, focusing on improving their mental health and well-being.
• Facilitating discussions about emotions and experiences to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining personal goals and establishing actionable steps to achieve them.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health conditions to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to individual needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential issued by a recognized state board; provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Ability to make informed clinical evaluations and effective treatment recommendations based on professional standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic approach towards client interactions.
• Proficiency in using technology for teletherapy, with strong computer literacy.

Preferred Experience

While the required experience for this role is a minimum of two years in a related field, candidates with experience in diverse therapeutic modalities and populations will be considered favorably. Additional experience in teletherapy and e-counseling is a plus that will enhance your ability to connect with clients virtually.
