The Company's portfolio of core technology and products offer unique capabilities in the areas of high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cyber security as well as remote sensing applications.
Position Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the continuous improvement programs of a 150 mm wafer line based on QCi's thin film lithium niobate (TELN) technology. The Continuous Improvement team will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The role involves identifying areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements, and utilizing methodologies such as "Zero Unplanned Maintenance", "Statistical Factory Controls", "Lean and Six Sigma", "5S", "Best Practice Sharing Programs", and "Cost Improvement Initiatives".
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field experience.
  • Proven experience in a continuous improvement role, preferably in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies; Green Belt certification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Capture, document, and report on Lessons Learned and quality risk mitigations.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement and Factory Control management,
  • Strong knowledge of ISO Class cleanroom requirements and control monitoring systems.
  • Direct experience with cleanroom documentation protocols, and technical writing.
  • Effective communicator and leader with experience working on high-stakes, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation review skills, and best practice sharing techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, maintaining standards, and driving a culture balancing innovation and standardization.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access a plus) and project QA/QC tracking tools.
  • Experience working with 5S, 6 Sigma, SPC programs , and GR&R studies (gauge reliability and repeatability)
  • Experience with semiconductor metrology and failure analysis equipment.
  • Basic understanding of the photonics integrated circuits field and their measurement techniques
