• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to accurately identify their mental health needs and issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate therapeutic techniques and best practices relevant to each client.
• Offer targeted counseling sessions to help clients build coping strategies and navigate their mental health challenges effectively.
• Stay informed of the latest therapeutic methodologies and take part in ongoing training to enhance your competencies.
• Provide a warm and engaging environment that fosters trust, enabling clients to comfortably discuss their most intimate concerns.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and refer clients to external resources as required to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all sessions and progress accurately, adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster rapport with clients are critical for success in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to create customized treatment plans based on individual client needs.
• Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development.

• Experience working with telehealth platforms is advantageous, particularly for remote counseling.
• Previous experience in a community health setting or direct counseling practice is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and an openness to learning new approaches.
