Job Title: Outpatient Oncology Physician Assistant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Oncology Physician Assistant to join our team. This role involves managing oncology patients in an outpatient setting, providing direct patient care, treatment planning, and coordination with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monday - Friday schedule
• Maintain their own scheduled seeing between 12 and 14 patients per day, majority are follow-up visits with some basic hematology consults depending on experience.
• 100% outpatient
• No call, no rounding
Common Cancer Types Managed:
• Breast cancer
• Lung cancer
• Colorectal cancer
• Prostate cancer
• Leukemia & lymphoma
• Head and neck cancers
• Melanoma and other skin cancers
• Gynecologic cancers (ovarian, cervical, endometrial)
• Gastrointestinal cancers (pancreatic, liver, stomach, esophageal)
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Licensure: Current PA license in [Insert State]
Certification: NCCPA certification required
