Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Include the following and others may be assigned.
o Be a good leader and support the Petroleum Division Standards.
โ€ข With a special emphasis on communication
o Safety is a priority.
o Delivers Propane or Refined Fuels on a daily basis.
โ€ข Greet people in a friendly and professional manner.
โ€ข Oversee the image and condition of the delivery trucks.
โ€ข Available for after hour and emergency calls.
โ€ข Responsible for the out of service policy.
โ€ข Handle the customer's propane distribution systems.
โ€ข Timely deliveries and customer service.
โ€ข Attentive to customer service satisfactions.
โ€ข Have knowledge of all refined fuels equipment with the ability to operate and perform at a high level of customer satisfaction.
o Maintenance of the Bulk Plant, equipment, required postings, and weed control with safety in mind.
o Responsible for sales tickets properly priced, bill of ladings and contracting information.
o Share responsibilities with filling and distribution of propane bottles.
o Help manage propane and fuel inventory.
โ€ข Continue to learn and keep abreast of current laws affecting propane and refined fuels.
โ€ข Keep shrink and/or shortage to a minimum.
โ€ข Be aware of the current retail market and notify management of area business climate.
โ€ข Promote new marketing ideas related to our Petroleum Division.
o To be at work on time and work the scheduled hours.
o Fill in at Service Stations as directed
โ€ข Fill in at service centers when needed
โ€ข Be to work on time and work the scheduled hours
โ€ข Assist other divisions to achieve the Cooperative's financial and customer satisfaction goals, be a team player
โ€ข Greet people in a friendly and professional manner
โ€ข Be Attentive to Customer Service satisfaction with tire and auto service
โ€ข Monitor safety standards for the station, warehouse, equipment, and required posting
โ€ข Utilize the safety tools provided to minimize risk
o Fill in at Agronomy Locations as directed
โ€ข Maintain efficient operation of Wallace Agronomy Plant
โ€ข Responsible for timely deliveries and customer service
โ€ข Be to work on time and work the scheduled hours
o Provide Bulk Oil Delivery Service as directed
o Install new propane sites and repair existing installations
โ€ข Install new propane sites per regulations and within required timeframe
โ€ข Repair existing propane installations as directed
โ€ข Maintain regulator update schedule. Assure regulators are replaced per schedule.
o Notify the Energy Manager on any customer complaint or compliance issue.
o Cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base.
o Be a team player and help out in other divisions to achieve the Cooperatives financial and customer satisfaction goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
o 3 years truck driving experience.
o Background in propane and/or refined fuels.
Required Knowledge:
o Correctly and safely handle propane and fuel.
o Current CDL, knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
Language Skills:
o Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
o Write routine reports and correspondence.
o Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
o Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
o Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
o Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
o Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
o Current Drivers License or CDL that meets the States requirement for the truck, truck and trailer or pickup need to perform the job.
o Forklift certification.
o Propane CETEP Certified or State Equivalent certified.

Finger Dexterity: Using primarily the fingers in making motions to make tickets, turn on fuel pumps, making small repairs, moving fuel hoses and etc.

Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Repetitive Motions: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hand and/or fingers.
Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
Physical Strength: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
