WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop, implement, and optimize composite manufacturing processes that improve safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines.
- Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive root cause problem-solving.
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve yields, and enhance product consistency through LEAN and 6S methodologies.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to introduce new tools, materials, and process technologies.
- Support process qualifications, testing, and documentation for new and existing products.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and validation reports.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to production teams to ensure proper process execution.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at cost reduction, process reliability, and operational excellence.
- Ensure all processes meet RS's standards for safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4- years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with composite materials or process-driven production.
- Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and exposure to CNC programming or industrial automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause identification and sustainable solutions.
- Clear communicator and collaborative team player with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems a plus.
