Help
Provides excellent customer service and demonstrates strong verbal communication skills since the incumbent represents the Medical Center Director in all interactions.
Prepares numerous reports, analyses, responses, action plans, etc. for the Medical Center Director's signature to all levels of officials within and outside the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Interacts with other organizations, community and affiliated hospitals, stakeholders, employees, patients, and congressional staff; which promote the mission of the medical center creating an atmosphere conducive to quality patient care.
Tracks activation related activities including policy changes, hiring practices and statuses, coordination with other facilities and the VISN, workforce development, planning within the organization and with community partners, flow process development, development and implementation of training plans.
Oversees planning activities that serve as a framework for decisions about projects and provides a basis for more detailed planning requirements.
Collects, analyzes, and updates outreach event data, including dates, attendance counts, partner organizations, requirements, and follow-up actions required for VISN roll-ups or mandated quarterly/biannual reporting.
Develop, communicate, and continuously update a comprehensive strategic planning process.
Conduct studies related to the development of planning initiatives determining the methodology and gathering data that is factual, historical, and statistical to meet objectives.
Collect and interpret information about market conditions and consumer behavior to assist the executive leadership make informed decisions.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 07:30am-04:00pm; subject to change based on the needs of the facility.
Telework: Yes, adhoc is determined by the agency policy.
