Job description

Pet Supplies Plus (PSP) has a temporary opportunity for a Marketing Director role with an anticipated duration of 2 months to bridge the gap until the full-time Marketing Director position is filled.


Creative Team Analysis

  •   Partner with the Creative Director to assess current state of creative team delivery and process
    • Define current scope of work, assess intake process and overall project management, identify work that doesn’t belong in creative
    • Provide a recommendation for future state – team role, process changes, workload redistribution, efficiency opportunities, etc

Pet Partner Planning

  • Build a vendor partnership toolkit that brings consistency to how we work with vendor and what they can expect from us. Plan template, Communication tracker, Measurement framework.
  • Work across the marketing team to finalize the 2027 Pet Partner marketing plan “packages,” with different levels of partnership across Strategic, Growth and All Other brands.

Private Brand Growth

  • Assess the current state of the Redford and Optim (private) brand and marketing plans. Identify gaps in brand foundations, growth opportunities and provide  go-to-market plan recommendations.
