TITLE: Sr. Site Director


DUTIES: Oversee operational oversight, people development, financial management, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across a single production site. Advance strategic growth, ensure compliance, and drive cultural alignment with company values. Lead all site operations across cheese, string, whey, and fresh mozzarella production lines, managing throughput of hundreds of millions of pounds annually while meeting performance metrics for safety, quality, service, and cost. Drive food safety and product quality by ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Deliver financial performance by managing budgets, cost control, forecasting, capital planning, and productivity initiatives. Lead and coach a high-performing leadership team including Plant Directors, Engineering, Maintenance, and Site Administration. Foster employee engagement, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration. Lead internal stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Engineering, Quality) to ensure alignment and site-wide performance. Oversee strategic investments, site master planning, and the execution of capital projects that expand capabilities and capacity. Analyze KPIs and implement continuous improvement practices to maximize performance and minimize waste or downtime. Serve as a key liaison between site operations and senior corporate leadership, providing regular updates on performance and progress. Champion a proactive safety culture by integrating safety into daily operations, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards, and promoting continuous improvement in workplace safety across all departments. Ensure site-wide environmental compliance, including oversight of the wastewater treatment plant, air emissions, and effluent discharge, in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Develop and manage strategic relationships with local, state, and federal agencies (e.g., USDA, EPA, DEC) to support regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and food manufacturing standards.

Requirements:

HOURS: 40 per week

SALARY: $116,771.00 to $240,000.00 per year

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree in Dairy Manufacturing or Food Science & Technology (or its U.S. equiv.) plus two yrs. of exp. as an Operations/Plant Manager in dairy/cheese industrial production with exp. in soft cheese technology.
