Job description

The Director of Sports Performance, (DSP) will lead a team of Sports Performance Specialists, and is responsible for staff
development, programming implementation, membership retention and establishing and maintaining the facility’s culture
to ensure members receive exceptional sports training in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun environment.

As Director of Sports Performance, your primary responsibility is to focus on member retention and/or renewal through
outstanding training performance and communication. You will work together with your staff of Sports Performance
Specialists to deliver a unique, one-of-a-kind experience to every member through implementation of Redline’s proprietary
60-minute training programs. There is also ample opportunity to be involved with, and compensated for, membership
growth.

Our DSP should be an enthusiastic and experienced athlete/coach/trainer with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
You must lead by example and enjoy working with clients of all ages and abilities - kids as well as their parents. We are
looking for a someone who is extremely high-energy, motivating, passionate about health and performance, and ready to
make a difference in each athlete’s life.


The ideal DSP can:
-deliver exceptional client service by leading dynamic and engaging training sessions;
-conduct safe and effective group training sessions, designed specifically for youth athletes;
-develop and maintain a friendly, positive relationship with every member and their family;
-master our proprietary training programs, individualized movement assessments, and modify programming as
needed for individual athletes’ needs;
-pay attention to each athlete’s form, safety, and emotional state and provide guidance, correction, and/or
feedback as needed;
-go the extra mile to make sure every athlete feels personally recognized and valued;
-build relationships within the community;
-effectively lead and empower the training staff;
-clearly communicate messages from management to trainers and athletes;
-work consistently with passion, purpose, and a desire to learn and grow.

The perfect candidate has:
-A passion for working with youth athletes;
-At least 2 years training experience, either 1x1 or in a group setting, ideally with youth; and/or
collegiate/professional athletic experience;
-NASM and/or CSCS certification;
-Experience leading a staff of trainers;
-A strong work ethic;
-A great attitude and people skills;
-A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Nutrition or a related field.

Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation negotiable, based on experience, plus revenue-share opportunities on 1x1 training, camps, clinics, etc. as
well as potential for membership-based incentives.
