Our teams build and deliver leading security platforms and collaborate closely with a global ecosystem of technology partners to create integrated solutions that address evolving customer needs. Within SBG, the Partner Technical Management team plays a meaningful role in enabling deep technical integrations and co-innovation with strategic partners. We are seeking a Director-level leader who can bridge the gap between technical enablement and commercial execution, ensuring our partners drive joint value and accelerate revenue growth.
Your Impact

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Partner Technical Managers. Foster a culture of "customer-first" attitude, creative collaboration, and scalable sales systems that empower the organization to exceed expectations.

  • Oversee the technical aspects of partner integrations and co-sell motions. Ensure successful technical onboarding, enablement, and support for partners, directly impacting time-to-value for enterprise customers.

  • Drive co-innovation initiatives with partners, finding opportunities to develop joint solutions that address market needs. Apply expertise in AI/ML to create competitive differentiation and "must-have" technical value propositions.

  • Develop and deliver high-impact technical enablement programs for partners and internal sales teams, ensuring they have the knowledge to pitch complex security and AI solutions effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure a "one-Cisco" approach. Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and global sales organizations to improve business value.

  • Serve as the senior technical and strategic point of contact for key partners. Build and maintain trust-based relationships with CXOs and senior leadership at strategic partner organizations.

  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, specifically in AI-powered threat intelligence and cloud-native security, to inform our partner strategy and identify new market opportunities.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Partner Technical Management function, with a focus on revenue growth, partner adoption, and deal acceleration.

  • Manage the budget for the Partner Technical Management function effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest-impact growth initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, partner alliances, or technical solutions roles within the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving significant revenue growth, preferably in hyperscalers (e.g., 100%+ quota attainment) in large-scale organizations.
  • Deep experience in AI GTM strategies, cloud computing, and modern integration technologies, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence CXO-level customers.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-million dollar enterprise deals and supporting co-sell/co-development initiatives with global partners.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, or related technology domains; background in AI-powered solutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, integration patterns, and architectural guidelines.
  • Experience in public speaking, thought leadership, and delivering keynotes or technical enablement sessions to large audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, experience with agile methodologies, and a history of receiving industry/company-wide awards for sales and partner excellence.
