Architectural Owner's Resprentative - Project Manager

Eden Prairie, MN | Direct Hire | $98k - $128k | Onsite

Konik is partnering with a nationally recognized owner and developer of premium wellness, hospitality, and mixed-use facilities to add an Architectural Owner's Representative - Project Manager. This role represents the owner throughout planning, design, permitting, construction support, and project closeout for high-visibility capital projects.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to external architecture and engineering consultants while driving project quality, schedule performance, budget alignment, and operational success. This position is well suited for an architectural professional who enjoys overseeing project execution, leading consultant teams, and influencing design outcomes from the owner's perspective.

Architectural Owner's Representative Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct outside architectural, engineering, commissioning, and specialty consulting partners.
  • Lead projects through programming, design, permitting, construction, and final closeout activities.
  • Facilitate design reviews to ensure alignment with operational requirements, design standards, and business objectives.
  • Monitor consultant performance, project milestones, contract deliverables, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate decisions among internal stakeholders, contractors, project teams and permitting agencies
  • Review drawings and design packages for constructability, completeness, functionality, and cost impacts.
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, risks, and overall project performance while providing leadership-level updates.

Architectural Owner's Representative Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture; Licensure is preferred
  • 10+ years of architectural project leadership experience within commercial, hospitality, healthcare, corporate, or mixed-use environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external architecture and engineering firms on behalf of an owner or client organization.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting, building codes, and project delivery processes.
  • Experience evaluating design quality, project risks, schedules, and budgets
