A Day in the Life:

In the position of Marketing Investments & Planning Director, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing the total marketing spend across assigned marketing teams. Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to track expenditures, review cost center allocations, and hold stakeholders accountable for their own budgets. Drive data to support long-term investment strategy and spearhead cross functional budget processes and system improvements.

The Impact You'll Make:
  • Lead end-to-end marketing budget planning and phasing cycles, owning the development of standardized templates and frameworks that drive consistency and accountability across investment decisions.
  • Own and facilitate monthly & quarterly actual vs. budget reviews across all marketing budget owners, driving accountability & actionable outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to Finance, partnering closely on all budget related matters including planning, reporting and reconciliation.
  • Own the communication of marketing budget and spend information to stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate and clear reporting across all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with budget owners to analyze and monitor marketing spend across all channels, surfacing insights and recommendations to improve investment efficiency and return.
  • Champion continuous improvement across marketing investment and planning processes through ongoing review, analysis, and optimization.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Marketing Analytics, Financial Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration or related field of study preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), finance business partnering
  • 5+ years of experience in partnering with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) for financial analysis and reporting.
