Job Description
A global industrial technology company is hiring a Director of Information Security to lead its enterprise cybersecurity program from its Westford, MA headquarters. This full-time leadership role is responsible for driving security strategy, security operations, governance, and engineering across a global organization supporting manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology. You'll oversee initiatives spanning threat detection, incident response, identity and access management, vulnerability management, cloud security, compliance, and operational technology (OT) security while partnering closely with executive leadership to protect critical business systems.
This is a highly strategic leadership opportunity for someone who wants to shape the future of cybersecurity at a growing global organization. You'll inherit an established security team while driving modernization through automation, measurable security outcomes, and scalable security architecture.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or security operations
5+ years of experience managing security managers and senior technical teams
Proven experience building and scaling enterprise cybersecurity programs across complex organizations
Deep expertise in security operations, incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), and security architecture
Experience developing security programs supported by automation, metrics, and operational excellence
Strong understanding of cloud security, enterprise infrastructure, and modern security technologies
Experience managing third-party security vendors, consultants, and managed security service providers (MSSPs)
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, GDPR, and related compliance standards
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate cybersecurity strategy to executive leadership
