We are looking for a senior director to lead the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Software Engineering organization. This highly visible, senior director level position is responsible for all aspects of Software Engineering's performance in support of the business area, including the application of software engineering processes, tools, talent acquisition, talent development, and program performance. You will lead a large organization through a digital transformation that embraces model-based engineering, DevSecOps, and agile development to deliver cutting-edge software that disrupts adversary communication and radar capabilities. • Lead and grow a best-in-class team of software engineers that deliver excellent results.
• Cultivate engineering and operational excellence through the standardization of software development processes, best practices, software engineering reuse, and continuous learning.
• Partner with other business area leaders to ensure business objectives and strategy are achieved.
• Work closely with the Product Line Engineering Leads and Discipline Managers to staff near-term project demand while defining and executing robust talent management plans.
• Attract, retain, and develop a healthy pipeline of future technical leaders and software engineering talent across the organization to support the business needs.
• Identify, maintain, and develop key software skills (e.g., distributed systems, embedded systems) required to meet business objectives in support of multi-year strategy.
• Successfully drive continuous process improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies, meet cost takeout objectives, support execution needs, promote agility, and ensure adoption within the organization.

• Broad understanding of software engineering and the DoW product development lifecycle.
• Proven track record of increasing responsibilities in managing organizations of significant complexities, including managing large-scale software-intensive projects through all aspects of the development process from requirements through system integration, production, and sustainment.
• Must currently possess a Secret Security Clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Proven ability to lead a dynamic, large-scale software organization (250+ engineers) across multiple sites.
• Proven performance management, mentoring, coaching, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of and experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and its application to software.
• Proven ability to lead Agile, DevSecOps, and digital transformation initiatives.

Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
