Description
Position Summary
Responsible for providing exemplary guest service by performing general maintenance & minor repairs of slot machines on the gaming floor.
Essential Functions
  • In absence of Slot Technician Supervisor, will report directly to Slot Supervisor while on shift.
  • Perform preventative maintenance & minor repair of slot machines and related equipment on the gaming floor.
  • Update machine maintenance records.
  • Assist with slot machine installs, moves, conversions, connecting and disconnecting of all associated slot equipment.
  • Provide assistance to Drop Team for drop related issues.
  • Perform bill tests and other tests on machines as necessary.
  • Repair Bill Validator and printers using test equipment in the tech shop.
  • Repair bill jams with assistance from Security with checking out cash box access keys.
  • Perform emergency cash canister exchanges with assistance from Security and Cage department.
  • Provide assistance to customers with machine malfunctions and disputes.
  • Provide assistance with jackpot payouts.
  • Must safeguard entrusted monies, keys, and properties.
  • Attend all Slot Department meetings and/or training sessions; pertinent training seminars and conferences as required.
  • Maintain general appearance and safety of work area on the casino floor and in the Slot Tech Shop.
  • Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.
  • Inform Slot Manager and Slot Shift Supervisor of any pertinent information.
  • Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs, and services.
  • Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with all Chinook Winds Policies and Procedures and customer service standards.
  • Adheres to the confidentiality policy of Chinook Winds.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
Other Requirements
Will work assigned shifts as deemed necessary by the needs of the gaming operation.
