THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead Emergency Services (ER) operations on a full-time permanent basis in Florence, AL. This senior leadership role requires a clinically credentialed RN with a strong track record in Emergency Services management and multidisciplinary team leadership. The successful candidate will drive performance-improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance across the ER department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department
  • Lead, develop, and retain multidisciplinary nursing teams
  • Interpret and act on analytical data to implement performance-improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and facility standards
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships across clinical and administrative functions

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships
  • Current Alabama RN license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • No hits on nursing license — license must be in good standing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives
  • BLS and ACLS certification — current (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
